The cradle of Estonian theatre and song festivals

The Song Celebration Museum tells the story of Estonian culture

The Song Celebration Museum is located in the Ülejõe district in a house built in the first half of the 19th century and is of great significance to Estonia.

The Vanemuine Society, which operated here from 1870 to 1903, laid the foundation for the tradition of Estonian song celebrations and national theatre. The permanent exhibition is in Estonian, English, Russian, and Finnish.
