The story of a once vibrant home

The 19th-century Tartu Citizen´s Home Museum takes you back in time

Located in one of the most unique buildings in the Old Town, the museum is a great place to experience life from two centuries ago. The visitors find themselves in the home of a middle-class citizen of the 1830s. The museum is furnished in a style typical of the Biedermeier era.

The permanent exhibition is in Estonian, English, Russian, Finnish and German.
